From the 10th until the 16th of October I was competing in the famous Weymouth speedweek. This event is the mother of all speed competitions. It has been organized already since the early 80's - check out Barry's Corner for more stories about Weymouth. The atmosphere was super relaxed, a bit like the Belgian speed week.


The wind was not that strong, between 17 and 20 knots. We were with 140 competitors. All the riders were divided in different groups. I was in the pro fleet, and I’m very happy to be able to tell you that I won in this fleet, especially because there were a lot of fast riders there competing with me, such as Anders Bringdal, Dave White, and Dan Ellis. I sailed the whole time with a 7,6m TR5 XT, 95 liter board and a 31 cm fin. I'm already looking forward to the next event.
