I clocked more than 36 knots on a broad reach with the 55/34 fin and 6.7 in a 20-25 knots of wind. I'm 86 kg. The speed is super steady and I was with a "slalom setting" which means more acceleration at low speed and average speed vs. pure top end speed.

In my view, anyhow, 190-240 is just perfect to cover medium to high wind sailing; and a longer extension would make it heavier. My vote is for: leave it as it is!

I confirm the impressions from chris: very easy, very stable, fast. No "sticky" at all. By the way: the board is so easy that I'm able to push 100% all of the time; this results in high average speed, and lets me use a less powerful and faster fin than I did on my previous Sonic95 (mostly Falcon 34, instead of SL2 34), which results in even higher ease and speed...
As for sail range, I think the sizes I use are at the extremes of the board's "competitive" range.

The board is really fast though, and extremely stable and easy to sail. It's basically 'hop on & go'.

For speed sailing 7.0 and down should be just right for this board. For slalom racing the 58 is probably a better choice.

The CA doesn't feel sticky at all. But it's also not 'volatile' - you can keep the hammer down all the time.

There's no doubt that I would have been faster with my 11 m2 but I am very impressed with the light feeling ( almost like my "standard" 11 m2 TR-4 ) and how stable the sail felt.
The windstrength were much higher than the range I'll normally use the sail in (with my 80 kg). But it's nice to know that it's possible to handle the sail OK if the wind picks up during a race.

Can't wait to try the sail in it's intended windrange.

The Legend 4.7 is very smooth and easy but not super fast - which makes it the go to sail for wave sailing. The Switch is very smooth and super fast with race sail sensations. So, for cruising, my preference is the Switch for that direct, stable and go fast personality.

The twist and body tension of the Switch returns a linear range of power and confidence to go fast. The sail feels like it is always there for you to power out of a turn and holds a steady balance when wound up and pushed over the limit. Great sail designs and would be the choice of more sailors if they could experience that feeling.
