The 2009 Fortaleza Grand Prix (Wind Brasil) was held in the beautiful venue of the Marina Park Hotel. A very well organized event by Arrow Marketing and Ceara government. Fortaleza is known for the strong and constant winds. This year couldn't be different. We had the schedule for 5 days of competition and 15 races in total,(3,4,3,3,2). I was ready for the event and sure that they will do the maximum races.

I started the competition with some good results in the first two days. I was happy but I knew since this, that I could have chance to fight for top positions. In the third day of competition I broke my best fin and was very sad for that. My speed wasn't good anymore and I was trying everything I had, this day I dropped to 3rd. In the last days I found a very good one again and I was more confident. I finished tied in 1st with Menegatti to go to the last day. I was nervous in the morning because I've never been in that situation. The first race of the last day I started good and manage to win from the start. For the last race I had to finish top 7. I was fighting all the race with Alberto, he was always very fast during this event. In the last lap I got a nice shift that put me in 1st in the last race.

I couldn't believe that day. I won the last races and the event. I was very happy!! Now it's time to relax...I did 5 events in a row and I'm very tired.
