German wave champion: Holger Beer
6th August 2012

Last weekend, the German champions were crowned on Sylt and I had the honor to assume the German championship title 2012 in the Wave discipline. I am ranked before Klaas Voget and Phillip Köster because I have participated in all events of  DWC (German Windsurf Cup). In terms of regulations I deserve the title but I have to admit that I would have been not at the top of the podium when Klaas Voget and Phillip Köster had attended all the events.

In terms of performance I have to say that they are better for sure. But my attitude seems to be professional and if I continue to make such a good progress, I might even keep up with the pros someday (okay, it is never enough for Köster ;-)).

Finally, I want to thank you for the great support and look forward to the new season and a nice cooperation.

Aloha
Holger Beer
