Worlds in Melbourne
7th December 2005
Barry, Kevin, Dennis, and Dorota are going to the Worlds As soon as Barry is done with the TR-2 production implementation down in Sri Lanka, he will be taking off for Melbourne to meet up with Kev and the rest of the gang to help out and observe the racing at the Worlds.
The sails they'll be using have been in Maui for awhile for tuning and testing and the goal is nothing short of a win. Barry is looking forward to getting to Perth, since he hasn't been there since 1988 when he was developing race sails with Willem Blaauw and Anders Bringdal for Neil Pryde. They were going to the cliffs below Fremantle and sailing in the big bay early in the mornings, then going to the loft there and recutting in the afternoon.
They would catch an afternoon session as soon as "the Doctor" showed up, and there was big wind for speed sailing at Woodman's Point. He plans to look up Matt Langer, our new agent in OZ and do some clinics and have a BBQ or two. Should be fun and there will be reports on the forum regularly.
