This will be the fourth installment of the evolution of the Legend as the premier wave sail in the world. In response to market desires there is now an open grid 6mil window laminate, tougher more resilient sleeve material, multi-strand Kevlar™ leech reinforcements, pearlescent four layer white XPly™ to ‘pop’ the new graphic, a lightweight tack area chafe protector, redesigned batten tensioners, and a reduced foot bead. The result is a tougher, lighter, bolder Legend for 2009.

But the best is what you don’t see so easily. Locked inside the structure of seams and shaping are evolved methods that have made these elegant classics into radical performers fit to the latest demands of top wave sailors, never giving up solid power and speed in order to gain a crisp but soft feeling on the waves. More than ever, the Legend is going to allow wild surfing success without limit. And for those in light wind areas, there is now a 6.1 to give you lots of extra hours of enjoyment.
