Dirk broke the Dutch National Speed Record

Dirk Doppenberg (F2 / MauiSails / ION) broke the Dutch National Speed Record this morning in South End.
With the F2 Missile XS, MauiSails TR-4 5,5, ION Strike Semidry 5/4 and 15kg extra weight Dirk was blasting down the course today. After his Personal Record, last week and again a Personal Record last Saturday he now broke his PR one more time and at the same time the Dutch National Record.
44,57 knots is closer to the Production Board World Record of fellow F2 Rider (and shaper) Patrick Diethelm as Dirk could have imagined 1 year ago. I'll give it a try for one year and will do as much as possible World Cups in Slalom and Speed and see where I end up, he told me last Winter.
Well, it looks like it’s going to be more then a try in 2008.
Dirk feels extremely comfortable with his F2 / MauiSails combi and is ready to rock.
