Once again we are all feeling very happy at home because I just held up to all the pressure on the last days of the Brazil Formula Grand Prix. I kept second place overall, with Gonzalo in first and Ross Williams third. This is my best result so far. Thank you guys once again.  I really have the best gear i could ask for and I was feeling so confident with the speed I had.

For this time I had to use all the weapons you put in my hands. For the first day's races I took the lovely slalom 9.2 and did great, and managed to finish the day tied in first place with a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in a 30 + knots races. For the next four days I had to switch between the 10.0 and the 12.0, as they were my choices. I wished I could have had the 11.0 for some races, but just three sails are allowed.

I held up in second place until last day. I was not very happy with my starts. That cost me some points and I had to go for race 15 having to finish ahead of Ross and not so far behind Wilhelm, to get back the second place I held until end of race 13.

It was blowing around 12-14 knots and I decided to take the 12 m" for the last two races. Then I did the starts I was missing from previous days, and so things got easier and I did a race with no problem at all to finish second, ahead of Ross. He did the race trying to get off my shadow, but I gave him no chances at all at this time. And so I got back to the place I was during the entire event.

5th - Paulo Dos Reis

Once again I had no problems at all and never broke anything. Everything is perfect with my gear. I'm stoked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And for sure it was a good feeling to see myself racing with those great sailors and feeling able to beat them!! To be the honest, I did not believe it at the beginning.
