At the beginning of April there was the Belgian Speed Week in Gruissan (France). There were about seventy competitors from seven nations. Patrick Van Hoof managed to sail again after 5 1/2 months of recovery because of the broken ancle he got due to an accident. Therefore he didn't have the opportunity to test the new TR-5 yet.


Still he was able to take the 3rd place overall and the Belgian title. The second Belgian was Christoph Waerzeggers, another MauiSails rider.
 
It was already the 12th time Patrick was the fastest Belgian rider on the water. The next speed competition will be held in Karpathos (Greece) from the beginning of July. We are looking forward to his results!
