Last weekend the MauiSails crew headed to San Francisco to partner up with Sunset Sailboards and showcase the all new 2013 product line.  Armed with TR-9s, Pursuits, Switch's, Legend's, Ghosts, Locos, and Mutants; Phil McGain, Camille Juban, Casey Hauser, and Kevin Kan started off the weekend at the Cal Sailing Club at Berkeley marina. 

From 6.3-2.9 we had sailors scrambling to get on all the sails as the wind quickly escalated from a nice 6.0-5.2 midday breeze into a 35mph average afternoon blast!  The Switches, Pursuits, and TR-9s were immediately de-rigged and replaced with small Legends, Locos, Ghosts, and Mutants, providing an opportunity for everyone present to get a solid sample of the full lineup on what locals afterwards claimed to be one of the windiest, most epic days they had ever seen at Berkeley.  On Sunday, after Casey returned to the city from a dawn patrol sesh on the 3.3 Legend in the Delta (yea, it averaged 36 out there too!), the crew regrouped at Crissy Field in hopes of a fun afternoon of slalom, freestyle, and bump and jump under the Golden Gate Bridge.  The wind picked up enough to demo out the TR-9 7.6, 7.0, and 6.3, but unfortunately the fog refused to burn completely off for a windier afternoon session.  All in all it was a fantastic weekend in the bay, and great to get the opportunity to have so many sailors to try out and give feedback on the new product line!
