SLALOM
Feeling so relax on the slalom made me so much better and having to win all three qualifying rounds to put me in the winners final on the first race was just a super feeling getting back on the beach people where really excited that I was so fast on that 7.6 while everyone else was on bigger sail size.
I didn't believe I was fast until I went back home and watch back at the live streaming and see how fast I was :). To bad they didn't finish the winner final on that same day I knew for sure I would have won.

DUCK JIBE
YES I did the duck jibe in one of the slalom heats, when you feel that you are so relax and you look back and see the whole pack meters behind you is a must :).

CONFIDENT & GOOD WIND

Day 2: Winner final the first heat on the water TR9xt 7.6 ISonic 110. The wind was not as good as the first day and was very light so I started perfectly on the horn just when the board spin out and made me had to settle for a pumping at the startline and as place 8th in the first race.

2nd race wind got stronger I had no problem qualifying for all my heats booked myself with ease to the 2nd winner final, I started up wind but really bad but as the wind increase I was speeding down to the first mark to get ahead of 5 riders in second: see the video on pwa :) this video that i saw made more eager for the next slalom days;

Day3: LIGHT WIND slalom
As the wind got lighter the the 7.6 became to small to stay perform better even though I was doing my best with good start but with big holes between the races I was pumping a lot between each jibe mark but that wasn't enough as the bigger sails was getting up and going faster then me and with less effort.
struggling was just killing my previous results and after 3 bad results in elimination 3&4 it made me from 5th to 13 place.

STUPIDITY
The Last race of the event. wind was good, I was perfect on my TR9xt 7.6 and 110 board the green flag went up I was the first crossing the live head a good lead to the first mark, round the first mark heading towards mark number 2 before I got there i could;t see the fleet, just to know I was heading to mark number 4. DAAAAAMNNNNNN I was so much screaming and if I could have just place myself another winner final I could have been in top 10 for the event. :(

Well after all that racing I finished 17th in slalom here in Sylt, but I feel really motivated and next year I am on it :)

FREESTYLE
Even though it was cold but i feel like I was ready for the freestylin9, The slalom sailing didn't affect my freestyle, I was taken each heat and try to be constant and it help me to get a well deserve 6th place the video watching and getting that confident is good I will use this technique for my winter training even though I could have done better but was struggling in the light wind as i toke my loco pro 4.8 and in the heat against dieter I was under power. Having my cousin Kiri winning the WORLD TITLE and bringing it to Bonaire is the best feeling ever.

For myself I feel like I am on a good road to do great next season, my Motivation is up and I am ready for the slalom scene.

Back to the gym and A lot of smart windsurf session and live life to have more then what I did in the past. I am on a roll :). CONFIDENT and MOTIVATED :)
