The third stop on PWA Wave tour finished in Gran Canaria with Kevin Pritchard fighting his way into second position on the PWA World Tour rankings.

The event in Gran Canaria had some radical conditions throughout the week.

The waves were 3 to 4 feet and the winds ranged from 25 to 40 knots of open ocean wind. Kevin Pritchard took down some heavy hitters throughout the event in the likes of Antoine Albeau, Ricardo Campello, Robby Swift, Marcos Perez, and in the end finished in forth position. Kevin used his new Maui Sails Legend wave sails 4.5, 4.2, and 4.0 in the event and was extremely happy with their performance.

"My Legends were working really good out there in the demanding conditions. This was the first real test in competition sailing for the smaller sizes and they worked really good. It is nice to know that you can get on any one of the sails and they will feel and work really good. For me that is very key to get that edge on my competition. A special thanks to Barry and Phil for really putting in the extra effort to make me the best sails on the water!" said Kevin.
