After the most exciting fight in years, a matter of controlling their nerves, Dennis Littel came out as the Dutch Course Race Champion 2007! The last event was held in Almere Muiderzand, where they had 4 fantastic day’s with even 15 races. The wind was between 8 – 13 knots and they putted a nice long course into the water. All the 15 races Dennis sailed with his TR-3 12.0 and FX V and this combination worked fantastic for him. they were fighting around at least 20 minutes each race, but that made it really nice. In the beginning of the competition he made some mistakes and had bad luck with weeds, but in the end everything went right and he made it to the top again.

Earlier this year they had 4 days of competition at the Grevelingendam where already did 10 races. There Dennis finished 2nd with only 3 points behind the first(NED2). So in the following event he knew what to do, and pieces where putted together.

Dennis: “I want to thank all the people who kept believing in me(specially my girlfriend and my sponsors), and pushed me to this title. It’s already my 3rd title in a row(since 2005), but this one was a great one because it was so close until the end.”
