Phil McGain sporting his and 6.6 TR-1 MauiSail and Carbon Art slalom board stormed to 4 victories today in the 40-49 age division of the Maui Fin company sponsored Maui Race series slalom event.

With trade winds picking up at Kanaha all morning the scene was set for a great days racing with most sailors using between 5.9 and 6.6m sails. Over 60 competitors competed in morning and afternoon races.

McGain getting flying starts was pushed hard by another MauiSails rider Mike Yasik, but managed to get clear at the first mark and held his lead on all four of the heats.

"The sails are feeling great, I had tones of speed and very good control in the choppy conditions". Said McGain as he finished off clean sweep of his division.
