2016 Epic

3-batten wave sail

The EPIC provides a pure wave riding experience and radical performance all built into a 3 batten layout.

By using our characteristic full vertical luff panel construction and refined seam shaping techniques the Epic stays nicely balanced and tensioned throughout a large wind range.

Material layout has been carefully planned out and oriented to balance the loads perfectly giving additional support to the 3 batten skeleton. Heavier duty X-ply is oriented to support diagonal twist loads while our light weight Metallic scrim in the leech and upper sail body gives the sail light weight and instant response.

The Epic is a super-quick, agile and responsive sail with a medium-neutral feel and moderate drive. It excels at combing outstanding surfing performance with quick sail handling for new school wave trickery.

Phil McGain with his Italian friend Agostino Lalla went for a windsurfing trip between Greek Islands.
An exciting day of racing last weekend at Kanaha beach park for the annual Hawaii State Championships. Winds had kicked in early and by the time racing started around 11.30am conditions were the best there was all year.
Couple of words from Tamara Bockius after winning third event of Maui Race Series that took place at Kanaha Beach Park on July 22nd.
Does your boom look old and dirty? Time to change a grip.
Once again we did over 40 knts of max speed. That's very good for open water and gusty conditions.
